Jay is a life-long Bethel resident, owner of John Streaman Insurance Agency.  He is a Senior sales associate at Remax Right Choice Real Estate.  Current member Zoning Board of Appeals 28 years, member Economic Development Commission, member Bethel Republican Town Committee.  His is a former member Bethel Streetscape Committee, Permanent Building Committee, Open Space and Lane Acquisition Commission and Justice of the Peace. Public Service activities include 43-year member Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department, current member SHFD Board of Directors, Mountain Host at Okemo Mountain Resort, Member of the National Ski Patrol.  Jay is a graduate of Post University AS/Business.  Certifications include Insurance and Real Estate Licenses.  Jay and his wife, Lynda, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
