Rick is a 32-year resident.  He grew up in Ridgefield and after graduating in 1978 entered the United States Navy where he served for 4 years.  After serving in the Navy in South Carolina he moved back to Connecticut and served in the Army National Guard for two years.  He is a Field Service Engineer with 35 years experience and is currently working for The Waters Corporation.  Besides being involved as a coach for Bethel Pop Warner and Bethel Baseball, he was a 21-year active member of Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department, having held three officer positions, Lieutenant, Captain and Chief Engineer and then President of the Fire Company; Mountain Ambassador at Okemo Mountain for 13 years; Rick and his wife, Christine, have three children.
